Hi,

I am evaluating the product at the mo, but I am immediately struck that there does not appear to be any export options when a query has been executed.

When a table or view is "opened" one can export to Excel etc. why not when a query is in use?

And in the same area, why not provide a "save" option for a query, there is an "open" one. I agree it is possisble to cut and paste, but that's not quite the same.

And I note it is rather too easy to lose all of a query when clicking on other tree options (for example trying to look up a table or column name).

Thanks for these useful feedbacks.

Most of your requests have already been added to the wish list for the next release.

Thanks again and feel free to send us all other requests you may have.

Hi there!
Right now I'm evaluating myLittleAdmin and it has many great functionalities, being nearly a web-replacement for SQL Management Studio. But only nearly:

As I would read above reply, AndyW's requests are or were on the wish list for "the next release". These posts were in 2009, now there was version 3.7 and 3.8, it seems to me that there is still no export from the "New Query" window. Sure, there is the "Export to Microsoft Excel" in the context menu whenever clicking inside myLittleAdmin, but it just does exactly nothing.
Is this feature in planning? And if so, when will be the next release?

The possibility to export query results would be the most needed feature at our place. Since our employees must be able to read and export data from databases, they have no rights to alter or update anything. (meaning the solution in another thread of "creating a view to export from its 'open view' window" is not a solution. Anyway, such queries are ad-hoc checks and mostly one-timers, so a view makes no sense at all.)

Thanks for any answer and/or help,
cheers, Christiantar

Thanks Christian for your feedback.
We did not add this feature to v3.8 for several technical reasons.
I know this feature is highly requested and i'm pretty sure it will be available in the next major release.

Thanks Elian for the answer.

Is there any timeline for this major release? The feature is really important for us.

Cheers, Christian
