From the point of view of an end user....

My webhost provider now provides the services offered through an installation of myLittleBackup. Whilst this is a great forward step from the previous situation where a database backup was a chargable administrative procedure for support staff.

Whilst the backup facility is indeed useful, would it not be simpler, and perhaps even more useful, to add the facility into myLittleBackup that exists in myLittleAdmin, to allow for the smile attaching and detaching of databases, so that end users can backup, restore and update databases using just xcopy techniques.

Or... Have I just missed the point, again?

Best regards
TS

The reason is really simple: myLittleBackup does not only restore the db, it also manages all the stressfull things your hoster had to do before. i.e. user mapping, orphan user, size limit checking, db options checking, etc...
